Dr Suzanne Tyler
Key Interests

Suzanne is committed to making services more equitable, to getting beyond the easy to reach (especially in terms of user involvement) and to making things happen. One of her key strengths is the ability to analyse and distil complex and wide ranging information; working with people to push suggestions to see how far they will go. She enjoys working in fast moving policy environments.

She is an ideas entrepreneur who marries theory and real world experience to find workable solutions to strategic and operational challenges. By assumptions using research evidence, working with service deliverers and engaging users she delivers effective strategy and policy for service improvement. She attributes her ability to see the bigger picture to not belonging to any professional tribe, but respecting and attempting to see everyone’s perspective. Her work interests include:

  • Policy analysis, strategic development and implementation
  • Researching and writing
  • User involvement and participation
  • Organisation and service review/development
  • Group facilitation
